WHAT IT IS ABOUT
The first part is devoted to the magic Altai mountains close to the Mongolian border. The Kazakh taiga provides plenty of space for touring and riding between larch trees, and the snow quality in the area gained an excellent reputation in the past.
In the evenings we stay in cozy guest houses, enjoy local kitchen, and relax in traditional banja.
The second part brings us to the South not far from Almaty, the city of thousand colors. The high mountains impressively rise behind the skyline, and the Ile-Alatau nature reserve offers touring up to 3800 m.a.s.l. Remote backcountry terrain blended with possibility for lift access in the Shymbulak mountain resort.

Discovering local food is part of our trips. Most of the time we receive hot meals at our host's, but sometimes we help cooking or even take care of dinner ourselves.
Traditional Kazakh cuisine includes diary products and meat. Yet in modern Central Asia diet restrictions can nowadays be handled better than ever before. Let us know what's your need, and we will find a solution.
